Hi everyone,
Just a reminder that the Melbourne Network of Urban Ecosystem Researchers (MeNUER) workshop is on this Friday, 17th August, from 1pm.
To hear about the research happening at Burnley, please come along at 1pm when Dr Nick Williams will lead a tour of the campus to see the current research activities. The main session will run from 1.30 – 4.45 pm, where Professor Kate Auty (http://www.ces.vic.gov.au/about-ces/about-the-commissioner), and Professors Tim Fletcher and Barb Downes from the University of Melbourne will give talks and run workshops.
After the workshop, please stay on for drinks, nibbles and socialising in conjunction with the Burnley Beer Club (BBC), where beers are provided at the bargain price of $2. Please advise of any dietary requirements.
For those who can get here earlier, there will be a group meeting at 12 pm to catch up and have lunch prior to the workshop. Everyone is welcome, meet at reception in the main building.
If you know of others who could be interested in attending, please pass this information on.
We look forward to seeing you there!
