An article titled Hidden helpers in the Australian Turfgrass Journal highlights some of the research being done on insects by researchers from the Burnley campus of the University of Melbourne, in conjunction with the Australian Research Centre for Urban Ecology (ARCUE), and the Australian Golf Course Superintendents’ Association (AGCSA). This joint research project focuses on the carbon and biodiversity benefits of urban green spaces such as golf courses, where insects are being studied due to their provision of many ecosystem services.
